Larren Odom, MBA, CFP®

Chastain Wealth was founded by Larren Odom, MBA, CFP®, a former partner at a large Registered Investment Advisor Firm. Larren has over 25 years experience in insurance, financial planning and investment management and has helped hundreds of clients protect and grow their wealth. Larren is an expert in investment management, tax mitigation, insurance and other asset protection.

He has been quoted in The Wall Street Journal, the Atlanta Business Chronicle, and NerdWallet. He is a Certified Financial Planner and has an MBA in Financial Planning from Georgia State University and a B.A. from the University of Florida.

Larren is a member of the Atlanta Estate Planning Council and has served on numerous boards of directors in the Atlanta area. He is a member of the 2019 class of Leadership Sandy Springs and has taught a financial literacy class at Riverwood High School.

Larren lives in Chastain Park with his wife, Jennifer, their three children, and two adorable pure-bred mutts. Larren is fluent in French, enjoys Cross-Fit, and likes watching the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta Hawks. He is also a coach of his youngest daughter’s U11 TopHat soccer team.

Jennifer Devine Odom, J.D, CFP®

Jennifer Devine Odom is a Wealth Manager at Chastain Wealth Management. As a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), she manages and invests clients’ assets, evaluates clients’ financial portfolio, and advises on investments, insurance, retirement and education savings, wealth transfer and charitable giving. Jennifer offers Chastain’s clients a unique skill set due to her experience as the former Co-Leader of Commercial Litigation and a Co-Leader of the Trusts, Estates and Fiduciary Litigation Team at a large international law firm. During her 25-year legal career, Jennifer represented several of the largest financial institutions in the country, individual trustees, family beneficiaries, and business owners. She witnessed first-hand the harmful impact that poor planning had on her affluent clients.

Jen now focuses on helping Chastain’s clients plan their financial future, protect their assets and achieve financial security for themselves and their families.

Jen is a frequent speaker on legal and leadership topics, is a member of the Fiduciary Law Section of the State Bar of Georgia and is a member of the Atlanta Estate Planning Council. Jen attended the University of Florida, where she obtained a degree in business (BS Finance, Honors 1993) and law degree (Honors, 1996). She obtained her Certified Financial Planning designation in 2017.

Jen is very involved in the community. She is on the University of Florida College of Law’s Board of Trustees and the Board of the Atlanta Estate Planning Counsel. She recently finished her tenure as the President of the Sandy Springs Chapter of the Young Men’s Service League (YMSL), a national non-profit in which moms & their sons volunteer together serving their local communities and is now involved in a similar organization (National Charity League) with her youngest daughter. She is a member of Leadership Atlanta (Class of 2010), has served as the Board Chair of Camp Kudzu, Inc., been active in the Junior League of Atlanta, was the Chair of the Power over Prejudice Summit, and an event chair for the NCAA 2007 Final Four in Atlanta. She has been named by the Atlanta Business Chronicle as a 40 under 40 and has been recognized in the legal profession as a Georgia Super Lawyer and Top 50 Women Super Lawyer.

David Hultstrom, MBA, CFA® , CIMA®

Chastain Wealth works with David Hultstrom, MBA, CFA®, CIMA® to provide investment expertise and help guide decisions on how to allocate our client’s money. Hultstrom is a Chartered Financial Analyst and has over 20 years’ experience providing investment advice. He has been quoted in numerous newspapers and journals, including the Wall Street Journal, the Chicago Tribune, the Economic Times, the Journal of Financial Planning, Newsweek, and the Christian Science Monitor. Mr. Hultstrom has served as an arbitrator and expert witness in securities disputes and has taught numerous courses nationwide for CPAs, financial planners, investment managers, and other professionals through several universities and other organizations.
