Tell us about yourself.
I’m originally from New Jersey, but I’m now officially an Atlanta resident! I’m going into my senior year at Emory University, and am majoring in applied mathematics. I don’t have any siblings but I do have a dog that I talk about too much.
Why did you choose a mathematics major?
I believe that almost everything in this world is driven by numbers. So, I wanted to choose a major that taught me how to analyze all of those numbers and apply that knowledge to a variety of fields.
Tell us something that we don’t know about you.
I love watching live stand-up comedy.
What do you like to do?
I like movies, food and travel. I also play field hockey. Although, I’m always happy to have a night in with some friends!
What made you want to intern at a wealth management?
I’ve been interested in joining the financial industry for a while, but wasn’t entirely sure what exact direction to take. I ended up interning at a different wealth management company last summer by chance and really enjoyed it—so much so that I wanted to spend another summer in the same field!
What’s your dream job?
I used to volunteer part-time at an animal shelter, where they had some full-time staff. Being part of the full-time staff and working with dogs and cats all day sounds both rewarding and adorable.
What’s on your bucket list?
I really want to travel to every continent. I also want to learn how to properly cook a big holiday meal (my regular meals could probably use some work too if I’m being honest).
If you’re reading a book currently, what is it?
I think my next one will be The Godfather by Mario Puzo—I’m a big fan of the movie and figure I should read the source material.
Do you have a favorite quote?
“If you really want something, you don’t stop for anyone or anything until you get it”
If you could meet anyone in the world alive or dead, who would it be?
I would want to meet Paul McCartney. I love his music and I bet he has some amazing stories to tell.
